Project overview
The Port of Palacios Energy & Resilience Improvement Project will rehabilitate bulkheads and berthing areas in Turning Basins 1 and 2, repairing 5,600 feet of bulkhead and installing 20 vessel-to-shore power stations to improve resilience against natural disasters and sea level rise. This project received $9,600,000 in PIDP 2022.
