Container ship DP World London strengthens DP World’s investment in lower-emission maritime transport

DP World’s Marine Services business, Shipping Solutions (“Shipping Solutions”), has named its new methanol dual-fuel container vessel, DP World London, marking another step toward lower-emission maritime transport. The 1,250-TEU vessel will operate on North European routes and can run on methanol as well as conventional fuel. Delivered in April 2026, it completed its first methanol bunkering in Rotterdam in June, with Methanex supplying the fuel. The vessel forms part of DP World’s continued investment in its fleet across key trade corridors.
